Mission

The purpose of magicmatters is to delve into all aspects of magic: history, character, performance & presentation, technique, public regard, perception, science, psychology, education, intellectual property, and aspirations. Our goal is to establish opportunities for students, performers and historians to interact and create new ways of communicating with audiences through the medium of magic. We will work to create collaborative efforts with both in and outside of the industry and form creative and advocacy efforts with other proponents of the performing arts in order to improve our prestige in the broader marketplace and demonstrate our commitment to excellence.
